Day 17 Pontifical Gregorian University.

Founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola, this Society of Jesus institution in Rome, Italy trains Jesuit missionaries. It’s a university of the nations founded back in 1551.

The Jesuit missionaries, trained at this university, have gone all over the world for centuries. Two particular Jesuit missionaries, Francis Xavier and Mateo Ricci are highlighted in today’s prayer for the campus. No, I did not visit Rome. I’m highlighting some early European universities this week.

All through May we are posting prayer visits to college campuses. Join the campaign. Pray on the campus near you, no matter where you are. #PraytheCampus
