Our team is an international network of Youth With A Mission missionaries, mostly focused on working with university students. Many are internship coordinators. Several others are volunteers. We meet regularly online for fellowship, prayer, to report on big wins, tackle big problems, and discuss current tasks.
YWAM Converge in Ocean City is a local expression of an international missions movement called Youth With A Mission. YWAM involves Evangelism, Training (to prepare people to fulfill their unique calling from God), and Mercy Ministries (helping the poor and those who suffer injustice). We do not operate out of a single local office. All our team members work remotely. We connect interns to missional organizations. We do that through Converge, a single platform with a searchable registry of internship & outreach opportunities, an online learning course, and a social fundraising platform to help students make a real-world difference with their field of studies, their skills, and their passions.
Remote work can be isolating. The best candidate is happy to connect remotely and work independently. Ideal candidates are self-starters with a clear understanding and ability to complete the tasks.
Internship fees are minimal. They cover the cost of the online course and registration fees with the University of the Nations.
Interns will meet remotely a few times a week with Converge director John Henry and/or other volunteers.
