The internship requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a remote work environment and can take on and lead tasks related to advocacy for victims of human trafficking. We are looking for an engaged self-starter who is ready to gain hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the state of human trafficking in America.
As a Remote Support Faith-Based Document Creation & Editor, you will be a public relations intern. You will be involved in a variety of aspects of marketing and communications. You will conduct remote interviews, and perhaps a remote informal focus group to gather feedback for market research. Your findings will help you pitch story ideas for our print, broadcast, and digital media. In cooperation with our staff members, you will plan, market, and present online informational meetings. Your responsibilities will include utilizing our social media channels and developing strategies for web-based messaging. Your role is to assist with MoreTooLife advocacy efforts and other assignments as needed.
We are on a non-profit campus with security. There are 16 other non-profits on our campus that we partner with. The campus is a community, with free coffee and snacks often. Our staff is made up of mostly of people from ages 25 to 45. The team is trained with Leadership Development & Communication and our MTL culture of love which are important aspects of our daily work.
